CCMI - Workshop

UC San Diego – Cytoscape Workshop 2018

Organized by Barry Demchak, Cytoscape's Chief Architect

With additional financial support provided by Flu-OMICS

Registration begins in May 2018

Cytoscape is the most popular software for analyzing and visualizing molecular networks and biological pathways. Cytoscape has many powerful features for integrating these networks with annotations, gene expression profiles and other state data.

In this clinic, the Cytoscape development team from Trey Ideker’s lab will try something completely new. Attendees at our recent workshops have requested an instructional format where individuals can work through Cytoscape tutorials and pose questions along the way that could be directly addressed by Cytoscape tutors and developers.

In this Spring clinic, we will do exactly that – start with Cytoscape installation and work our way through the online tutorials available at  http://tutorials.cytoscape.org

Preparation

Anyone interested in hearing the presentation, working through the tutorials and posing their own Cytoscape-related problems is welcome to attend. If possible, please bring a PC or Mac with Cytoscape v3.6.1 already installed or at least attempted.
